I just watched a very disquieting interview with Hrycenko, whose oldest son
has been captured in Crimea and he has no news.
In short he said:
The current govt in kyiv, Turchynov, Yatseniuk, Tenukh, have failed to
protect the country, and are conducting themselves as zradnyky, even
according to the constitution.
He said the current Do Nothing approach is allowing the country to slip
into the arms of the aggressor.
He said he was not for war, but said you have to show the enemy that you
are really ready. Otherwise, the enemy will just take over, as is happening.
He said the Uk. Soldiers in Krym have been abandoned by Kyiv. He said this
is why his son went there with auto maidan to bring them supplies.
He said that people go to recruiting centres and are turned away, because "
vy ne po ti spytsjalnosti".
He said this is appalling, when citizens go and want to save their country.
He said that Ukraine will be lost if the current govt keeps on this way.
He uttered the names of Turchynov, and yatseniuk with great disappointment.
He said this was bunk about the army not being ready and being weak. He
outlined how military orders are to be executed, and which numerous forces
could be called in. He was worried factories were not protected. I think he
was referring to military sensitive ones. He is aware of the discrepancy
between Russia and Ukraine but he outlined a long list of what is possible
and available.
He said the current group is demoralizing the country.
He said that the job of maidan was not over, but even maidan members in
parliament have closed themselves off.
He said when all the leaders would come to maidan, Turchynov, yatseniuk,
klitschko, poroshenko and others, everytime someone was abducted, they made
efforts to get them
Now people are abducted in krym and the leaders are totally silent.
He said they're in the Rada, and maidan is forgotten.
He said Turchynov is irresponsible and has failed to protect the country,
and the country is sliding away.
He said that if there are men without insignias on your territory, they are
terrorists, and methods must be found to contain them.
He said there is no preparedness. He says he is getting calls non stop due
to the current government's conduct.
He said he hopes they act soon, tomorrow will be too late.
And if they don't act, he said he and others are organizing to defend their
country.
