I guess the options are getting clearer. We have two choices it seems:
(1) very bad and (2) catastrophic.

(1) = going along with the politicos of the day. They've not changed.
They ignore the people and only think of themselves and their current
Western (at best...) overlords. In this scenario Ukraine will
probably get hammered (unless some miraculous turnaround in Western
readiness to help occurs: chance= 1%)

(2)= trying a new "Maidan" against the politicos. I don't see it
working. The best would be some discoordinated Makhnivshchynas et sim...

There is still a chance option (1) might improve a bit if some greater
Western and world support emerges. Plus other variables.

But we are sort of teetering at the moment...
