Well Russia has positioned snipers at all critical junctions in
the space station. :) and has used women astronauts as shields
to overtake various positions such as the command centre and
docking hatches and airlocks.
On the serious side, the space station is totally dependent
on Russian Soyuz capsules. SpaceX is probably 1 to 3
years away from certifying their 7 man space capsule (Dragon).
It has already been in space.
That is the dragon space capsule. It has already been used
in unmanned configuration to resupply the space station in 2012
and again in 2013.
It's next resupply mission is to occur on March 30th 2014.

Unfortunately they still have to rely on the Russians to send
up and retrieve astronauts.
Then the Chinese have a proven sattellite killer missle that
could take out the entire station.
