The Yanuk regime destroyed the effectiveness of the Ukrainian armed
forces and security service. The new government took over just a
little more than a week ago.
Ukraine is currently unable to resist Russia militarily in the
Crimea. It can only use diplomatic means.
And Russia has broken off diplomatic relations with the "illegitimate"
Ukrainian regime. So said Churkin, the Russian UN churl today.
While one of the Crimean bandits currently in power there
(Konstantinov) made a speech in Moscow today about wanting to unite
the whole of Ukraine to Russia, not just the Crimea...
