Even G.W. Bush sent warships to the Black Sea specifically for Georgia -- Obama didn't even do that.

Lesson #1 Treaties mean absolutely nothing, just words on a page

Lesson #2 If you have nukes, keep them because security guarantees mean nothing at all

Lesson #3 Ignore Western countries on what to do -- just do what is necessary

Lesson #4 Time to start building a kick ass professional army with very large reserve units a la Switzerland

Lesson #5 Train all Ukrainian soldiers/reservists in Guerilla Warfare tactics for that day when Putin rolls in the tanks

Lesson #6 Start building a huge propaganda machine like Putin

Lesson #7 Start an East European Union as Germany/France/Britain seem to treat everybody else like crap in the EU

Lesson #8 Ukraine will always be abandoned by "it's friends", thus needs to learn how to stand alone with a backbone
