Many environmental protesters in Canada are paid protesters just
like Yanukovych's protesters were in Kyiv, Kharkiv & Donetsk. No
true conviction -- just a pay-cheque. The line-9 protests in
Ontario were all paid protestors.

Yes that label has been overused and lately rightly so in the
comparison between Putin & Hitler. The events of Russia the
last 15 years is eeriely identical to Hitler's Germany in the
mid-to-late 1930's -- annexation of Transdniester, Abkhazia,
South Ossetia, and now Crimea. It was lack of reaction from
Western powers that enavbled Hitler.

In the media labeling somebody as a Stalinist has no traction in
Western media -- labeling somebody a NAZI does.

Supplying natural gas from Canada & USA to the EU and even Ukraine
may eliminate the dependency on Russian energy.

It was the pressure from environmental groups in Europe that
eliminated coal fired power plants, nuclear power plants and thus
made the EU succeptible to coersion from Russia and thus scared
to take on the Russian bear -- it has enabled Russia and has funded
a full rearmament of the Russian Military.
