The Tartars in Crimea can help by calling their Muslim compatriots to
revolt in distant parts of the Russian Federation, to draw away troops from
Crimea. Putin will have to make a difficult strategic decision, do I hold
the RF together or capture Crimea?
And the US 6th fleet can create 200 mile blockade around Crimea and the
Ukrainian government can declare a No Fly Zone

Partition Russia at the Ural mountains. Interesting hypothesis. Let us
remember however that Russia has nukes.
